Kinnard Farms Inc. located in North Central Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. A family-owned dairy and crop farm founded in 1948, Alvin and Milly Kinnard worked very hard to build the farm as well as raise their seven children. Over the years the farm has made much growth and many improvements. The Kinnard family’s perseverance paid off as well as the dedication and hard work. In 2015 the construction of their new barn was completed. We had the honor of working closely with the contractors to ensure the comfort and safety of the cows. This facility amazed me each day we went to work. The care in the maternity area, nursery, free-stall barn and how the cows are taken care of on a daily basis. Then there is the rotary milk parlor…. Amazing!!!
In the new barn, we grooved straight grooves on the crosswalks, drover’s lane, maternity area, breezeway, and the hoof trimming area. We also did grooving in the older barns return lanes, breezeway, and ends of the alleys. As much as you would think each farm would be the same, and for the most part, it is, however, each farm is unique in many ways, and we are educated at each and every farm we visit. I strongly urge you to check out their website kinnardfarms.com and if you ever get the chance to take a tour. They will be hosting Breakfast on the Farm on June 16th, 2019.
Kinnard Farms provides jobs for 100 employees as well as generates jobs indirectly for hundreds of others. We are honored to have been chosen to have a positive impact on the farm.
Kinnard Farms continues the legacy with a passion for the animals, commitment to the community and environment, dedication to the industry by offering scholarships and a drive to grow personally and professionally, just like the farm.
